These shots were taken deep in the middle of the night. My favourite time. When nothing else is stirring. The snow had fallen the evening before and was untouched, apart from the main road. Still crisp and new. The moon was full. That combination – full moon and glistening white snow – created a dazzling light source. The sky really was this colour. These images have had little in the way of post-production treatment.
It was a nice experiment.
